Mentors & Fellows Concerts

Saturday evenings at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm at Walter Hall

The Toronto Summer Music Festival not only provides Toronto music-lovers with top-tier classical performances in the middle of the summer, it also hosts an annual TSMF Academy. This professional training program provides access to mentoring by some of classical music’s most acclaimed artists for an elite group of talented musicians at the start of their professional careers. The Academy is tightly woven into the fabric of the Festival, and guest artists join us not only to perform, but also to teach and mentor Academy Fellows.

As part of both Academy training and Festival programming, six unique performances featuring Academy Mentors and Fellows are presented at Walter Hall. These incredible concerts are alive with an energy only such a collaboration can create. They embody the spirit of the Festival and the timeless tradition of passing on the craft of music-making. Make sure your Festival experience includes at least one of these special concerts.
